Book Review : 1
Have read a lot of books in the last few months during my internship. It just a passion which keeps growing. Thought would share my thoughts on a few books I end up reading, so here goes.
Just Finished : Digital Fortress by Dan Brown.
Thank God I borrowed the book from a friend. Would have hated wasting money on it. Though I like DVC and Angles & Demons by Dan Brown this book is a big letdown. I appreciated the first two books not cause they are brilliant pieces of fiction, cuz theyre not. Albeit the books are enjoyable as they are full of trivia and knowledge about a lot of locations and buildings. The man might or might not know his Bible, but he made sure he knew the buildings. It a fast read, good to while away time and he does a credible job of blurring the line between fact and fiction.
None of this is seen in Digital Fortress, which is predictable to the hilt. Slow and non imaginative the book is at best passable.

The Bourne Trilogy
Have recently finished reading the final part of the Bourne Trilogy by Robert Ludlum : The Bourne Ultimatum.
Have to say, the dude knows his stuff. All the three books : The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum are brilliant pieces of fast paced spy thrillers. Though the books are complete in themselves, the trilogy has a distinct undercurrent which joins the three books.
The first part begins with the story of a brilliant spy who happens to lose his memory and the final book ends in him finally facing his old enemies again. Fast paced, Ludlum keeps a taut hold on the storyline and weaves the story around a guy instead of the gadgets. Simply Unputdownable !
A must read for everyone who enjoys a good book with a cup of coffee on a rainy day...
Candle in the wind
A great guy told me this :
We all know that when there's a storm and wind is crashing everything around you, it is impossible to light a diya. But you still cup you hand in front of it and try and light. If you believe...the diya does light...because it wants to.
Thanks Harsh.
May God Bless You. Have a great stint at your new life...fate would bring us together again, of that I'm sure.

You're Most Like The Season Winter ...
You're often depicted as the cold, distant season. But you're incredibly intelligent, mature and Independant. You have an air of power around you - and that can sometimes scare people off. You're complex, and get hurt easily - so you rarely let people in if you can help it. You can be somewhat of a loner, but just as easily you could be the leader of many. You Tend to be negative, and hard to relate to, but you give off a relaxed image despite being insecure - and secretly many people long to be like you, not knowing how deep the Winter season really is.
Well done... You're the most inspirational of seasons :)
You are most Like A Sapphire !
Dark, mysterious - but unforgettable. You have a deep
beauty. Delicate, and shy you try to stay away from the
limelight but often your intelligence puts you in at the
deep end. You're like a Sapphire, because, your beauty is priceless.
You're intelligent, full of opinions, and not big-headed about it all.
Sometimes you need to put yourself out there, as you can be a bit shy.
Congratulations ... You're the mysterious gem everybody wants to have and learn more about.
you're none of the Sins you're an Angel! (now that's i lie and i know it ;) )
Perfect, or close enough, and annoyingly so! Did you always
behave so 'just right'. ARGHHH . You can annoy the hell outta
people with your attitude, but no doubt your church is real happy
with you. The positive side certainly outweighs the negative,
after all, you do chores, are smart, are cute, do charity work.
Least you know what a perfect saint you are. You just make the rest
of us sinners vomit. Perhaps you could break the rules once in a while, go wild - Eat an extra cookie or something.
However - congratulations on being the most pure, of the entire human race.
